  1. Dr. Colgren, Principal
    • School updates
      Hearing a lot on how great Lasalle PTO, staff, students and community are. Lasalle Springs is a special place and we all want to preserve it going forward. We will continue to act intentionally and staff identified things that make this school such a special place.
  2. Treasurer Update: Tiffany Moton & Nichole Moreno
    • Budget
      Only allowed to carry 5% over from last year. $10,000 in grants. Moved a lot of money into redoing the staff lounge.
    • Grants/WISH LIST
      Changed the name of Grants to Wish List. Each team gets $400 to start out with and they fill out a wish list for anything over that.
    • Paperwork procedures
      If you buy anything, get a reimbursement form. Give it to the Committee Chair first and then pass it onto Presidents. Make sure to use tax exempt form when purchasing items.
  3. President Update: Betsy Estrada-Grass & Erin Mazzola
    • Staff Lounge
    • Worked with Style House to design the Staff Lounge and they gave us items at cost. Thank you to those who helped paint it. Cabinets arrive on the 31st, getting new counters , and purchased a new refrigerator.
    • Wildcat Club
      This is our main fundraiser. We raised the goal to $12,000. We are at $6,661.21. The suggested donation is $50 and gives you Buzz Book access, $150 donation gives you Buzz Book access + four VIP seats to one event + 1 store coupon, $250 donation gives you access to Buzz Book +to four VIP seats to two events+ 2 store coupons
    • Presidents Forum Leadership Conference- Sept 13- 5:30pm (doors open at 5p) at EHS See attachment to sign up for it.
  4. Secretary Update: Caroline Fox & Sarah Lynch
    • Social Media- Lindsay Poepsel Lindsay is taking over Lasalle Spring’s Pto Facebook Page. She has experience running her elementary PTO page.
  5. Hospitality Update: Reese Benlien & Jackie German
    • Teacher Conference Meals – Lisa Heisel, Jen Heisel Back to School lunch from Macalister.
    • Staff Appreciation days- Jordan Jureka Put cookies in the lounge for teachers. Will have dessert cart days. Sweet and Simple kettle corn for teachers at Conferences.
    • Copy Committee- Sarah Bracken Everyone is back and we have one new volunteer. Teachers really appreciate this.
  6. Committee Updates:
    • Spirit Wear – Melinda Monahan & Jessie Steele Worked with Crown Embroidery for Cash and Carry Sale and sold $6100 worth of items so far. Can order online through August 28th and it will be at school in about 5 weeks.
    • School Store – Mikaela Garth & Dawn DuFour School store is once a month. First school store is October 13th and it's a candy day!
    • Corporate Sponsorship – Betsy & Erin Looking for Corporate Sponsors for this year.
    • Book Fair-Pam Nickrent October 10th-18th. Looking for lots of volunteers. We get more with scholastic dollars. We bought Social Studies teachers books with Scholastic dollars. Hoping to pass out coupons to students in need this year.
    • Cotillion – Tina Woods Working with Etiquette St. Louis. We get a $10 kick back for each kid. Meetings start in January and dinner is Monday, March 4th.
    • Staff Liaison- Jenny Danner
      Adopt a family-Sarah Bracken
      Families in need have a wish list. Social worker will deliver gifts to them around the holidays.
      Spring Clean-Sarah Bracken Hygiene and Cleaning products are donated for families in need. This year we are having a competition between the kids to see who can bring in the most items to donate.
